I am an Ottawa based photographer with a passion for the outdoors. I started shooting in high school, spending my four years as lead photographer for the yearbook. In April of 2013 I graduated with honours from Algonquin College’s photography program. later the same I year accepted a position with the University of Ottawa Quidditch Club as their Team Photographer, during that time I also held a Staff Photographer position with the International Quidditch Association.
From April 2014 to March 2017 I held the role Director of Photography for Quidditch Canada. I was put in charge of a small group of photographers stationed across Canada, I managed shooting schedules and staffing for events, and looked after the Quidditch Canada Flickr. I learned a lot about sport photography during my three years with QC. Quidditch is a strange sport, with fourteen players on the field and five balls to focus on, there was a lot of trial and error.
I currently work for MEC in shipping and receiving, as an event staff and event photographer. I love hiking, camping and I cycle all year round. I primarily shoot sports, events and portraits.
I have desire to explore as much of the world as possible through my lens. I shoot because I enjoy it and I want to share my passion and my images with everyone.
